Our client is a vibrant, successful and growing family business within the floral / horticulture sector in Northern Ireland. As an independent, family run business, they have carved out a successful niche as a supplier of choice. Due to ongoing expansion, they are now looking to recruit a full-time Warehouse Operative with a forklift license in the floral packing and distribution section of the business.
KEY DUTIES
- Working on the packing line helping to make up bouquets of flowers and floral gift sets
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Working in a busy environment ensuring that the flower bouquets are produced in a timely and quality fashion
- Ensuring all floral packs contain the correct cards and feed ingredients etc
THE PERSON
- Ideally previous experience in a production or packing environment would be ideal although full training can be provided for the right person looking for a career change
- Able to work to set deadlines and in a busy environment whilst ensuring quality is always maintained
- An interest in flowers or horticulture would be an advantage but isn’t necessary
- Looking for a full-time role and available to start asap
- Good team player and able to fit into a busy packing line
- Forklift license desirable
SALARY
An hourly rate of approx £13.10 (overtime) will be on offer to the successful candidates with a forklift license.
