Rushcroft Primary School is a popular and successful single-form entry primary school in Shaw. We are a friendly community school with a strong and caring ethos. We are seeking to appoint a skilled, confident and proactive Playworker for our Before and After School Club (Rushcroft Owls). Our Before and After School Club is led and managed by the school and provides a small, nurturing environment offering high-quality childcare for working families.
The working hours for this post are:
- Tues: 3:10pm - 5:10pm
- Wed, Thurs, Fri: 3:10pm - 5:45pm
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Has a positive, caring and child-centred approach
- Is energetic, proactive and committed to providing high-quality childcare
- Is professional, reliable and works well as part of a team
- Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or childcare setting
- Can confidently lead and support other staff
- Can plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understands safeguarding responsibilities and follows procedures effectively
