Coalville Care Home provides support for adults with long-term mental health conditions who benefit from a stable, supportive environment. The service offers 24-hour care within a therapeutic setting, helping each person to develop life skills, confidence, and independence.

Our experienced team works closely with health and social care professionals to deliver structured, person-centred support that enables service users to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping our service users live safely, comfortably, and with purpose. You’ll support individuals with their daily routines, personal care, and social activities, and encourage independence wherever possible.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting emotional and physical wellbeing in line with personalised care plans.
  • Encouraging independence, choice, and active participation in daily life.
  • Assisting with medication, meals, and personal care where required.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships that promote stability and confidence.
  • Supporting activities both within the home and in the community.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and effective communication with the team.
  • All training will be provided, including the Care Certificate if you are new to care. You will also have opportunities to progress through nationally recognised qualifications and internal development pathways.

    Experience in care is welcome but not essential as full training and shadowing will be provided.
