Support Worker - Beaumanor – Beaumanor Care Home

Location: Beaumanor Care Home, 41 Cartwright St, Loughborough, LE11 1JW

Shifts: 33.75 hours per week (shift‑based rota over 7 days including weekends and public holidays)

As a Support Worker with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will be part of the team responsible for delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care. Your role will have a direct impact on the quality of life and outcomes for the service users you support.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to provide physical, social, and psychological care to our service users. You will work closely with healthcare team leaders to ensure the well‑being and dignity of individuals we support. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Promoting the dignity and independence of individuals we support, considering their unique needs and backgrounds.
• Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal times, and social interactions, while encouraging freedom of choice.
• Participating in social activities, outings, and hobbies, helping to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for those in our care.
• Providing emotional and psychological support through active listening, conversation, and 1‑to‑1 activities.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided and reporting any changes in a service user’s physical or emotional state.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both service users and staff.
• Undertaking training and development opportunities, including completing the Care Certificate within the probationary period.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A basic understanding of care and safe working practices, with a positive approach to supporting individuals and promoting their wellbeing, or are willing to develop these skills.
• The ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and support others to maintain standards.
• Reliability, organisation, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Pride in maintaining cleanliness and supporting a safe working environment.
• Clear communication and an understanding of the importance of your role within a care setting.

About The Service

Beaumanor Care Home is a purpose‑built nursing and residential service in Loughborough that supports up to 53 service users. The home offers a safe and welcoming environment with all‑ensuite single rooms, many with patio access, spacious lounges, dining areas with canal views, a hair salon, accessible bathing facilities, lift access and well‑kept gardens with sensory planting and quiet seating areas.
