Location: Beaumanor Care Home, Cartwright Street, Loughborough

Hours: 33.75 hours per week (shift-based rota over 7 days including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays)

About The Role

Your primary responsibility will be to provide physical, social, and psychological care to our service users. You will work closely with healthcare team leaders to ensure the well-being and dignity of individuals we support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting the dignity and independence of individuals we support, taking into account their unique needs and backgrounds.
  • Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal times, and social interactions, while encouraging freedom of choice.
  • Participating in social activities, outings, and hobbies, helping to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for those in our care.
  • Providing emotional and psychological support through active listening, conversation, and 1-to-1 activities.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided and reporting any changes in a service user’s physical or emotional state.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both service users and staff.
  • Undertaking training and development opportunities, including completing the Care Certificate within the probationary period.

About The Service

Beaumanor Care Home is a purpose-built nursing and residential service in Loughborough that supports up to 53 service users. The home offers a safe and welcoming environment with all-ensuite single rooms, many with patio access, spacious lounges, dining areas with canal views, a hair salon, accessible bathing facilities, lift access and well-kept gardens with sensory planting and quiet seating areas.

What We Offer

We provide a structured induction and ongoing clinical support to ensure you are confident and effective in your role. You will receive supervision, training, and opportunities to develop within a growing service, including progression into leadership roles.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which is covered by Rushcliffe Care.
