Hours: 22.50 hours per week, Monday-Wednesday 8.30-16.30

As a Hospital Administrator with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the service runs safely, effectively, and in line with regulatory and organisational standards. Your role will directly support safe staffing, compliance, and the overall quality of service delivery. About the Service:

Aberavon Hospital provides rehabilitation and recovery for people with complex, severe and enduring mental health challenges. Referrals will be accepted from medium/low secure hospitals, PICU, acute admissions and the Criminal Justice System. Patients will be detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. Rushcliffe Aberavon is an 18 bedded locked rehabilitation unit for males between the age of 18 and 65 with:

  • A primary diagnosis of mental illness or personality disorder, who would benefit from treatment offered within a locked rehabilitation service.
  • Individuals whose mental health illness coexists with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour or substance misuse.
  • Individuals who may have disengaged and failed to maintain contact with treatment services in the past.
  • Individuals who would benefit from support from rehabilitation services in preparing them to live independently in the community.

About the Role:

As a Hospital Administrator, you will provide effective, accurate, and professional administrative support to the service, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of office functions. You will support the Registered Manager with workforce administration, recruitment processes, training records, rota administration, and document control. This includes maintaining accurate staff records, supporting audit readiness, and ensuring documentation is compliant and up to date. The role includes managing communication across the service, acting as a professional point of contact for staff, service users, visitors, and external professionals. You will support front-of-house duties, maintain service systems such as CoolCare, and ensure information is handled securely and in line with GDPR. You will also support key operational processes such as supervision scheduling, training compliance tracking, meeting administration, and general service coordination, contributing to a well-run and compliant environment.

About You:

You have experience working in a busy administrative or office environment and are confident managing multiple tasks and priorities. You are organised, accurate, and able to maintain clear and compliant records. You are confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems and are comfortable working with data and documentation. You communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally. You understand the importance of confidentiality, compliance, and professionalism in a care setting.
