As a Domestic Supervisor with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will lead the domestic and laundry team to ensure the environment across the service remains clean, safe, and well maintained at all times. Clean surroundings are not optional. They directly support infection prevention, dignity, safety, and the overall care experience. This role ensures those standards are met every day.

About the Role

As Domestic Supervisor, you will manage and oversee the domestic and laundry service within Epinal Way Care Centre. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the building, ensuring infection prevention procedures, COSHH guidance, and company policies are followed consistently. Your role will include:

  • Supervising and supporting the Domestic and Laundry team
  • Planning and overseeing rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Monitoring performance and addressing any concerns promptly
  • Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed correctly and on time
  • Maintaining stock control and ordering supplies within budget
  • Supporting infection control procedures, including high risk or isolation cleaning where required
  • Reporting hazards, maintenance issues, or compliance concerns
  • Providing supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to team members

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set the standard, support your team, and ensure expectations are clear and met. Your 35 hours will be worked flexibly across a seven-day service in line with operational need.

About You

You will have experience in domestic or cleaning services, ideally within a regulated care environment. You understand infection prevention, COSHH, and safe use of cleaning equipment. You are organised, confident in managing rotas and stock, and comfortable leading a team. You take standards seriously. You address issues early, communicate clearly, and expect consistency from yourself and others. You are reliable, practical, and willing to work flexibly.

Epinal Way Care Centre in Loughborough brings together three specialist units within one building: Matthews Neuro-Rehabilitation, Aarons Dementia, and The Hall Mental Health. Each unit provides focused support while sharing the wider resources of the centre. Matthews supports people with acquired or traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, and those requiring palliative care. Aarons is a nurse-led dementia unit for people with complex needs, providing a safe and therapeutic environment. The Hall supports individuals with long-standing mental health conditions, delivered in a structured and recovery-focused setting. Care is person-centred and delivered by a skilled multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, psychology, and support staff. Clean, safe, and well-maintained environments are a key part of the care experience and play an important role in wellbeing and dignity.
