About the Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the service. Your role will include cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, corridors, and staff areas. You will follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention guidance, using equipment and cleaning products safely and correctly. You will work as part of the wider team, understanding that your role plays a direct part in keeping service users safe and comfortable. Attention to detail matters. Consistency matters. Doing the job properly, even on busy days, matters. Your working hours will be worked fairly across seven days for our 30 hours per week role.
About You
You do not need previous experience in care, but you do need a strong sense of responsibility. You take pride in your work and understand that high standards are not optional. You follow guidance, work methodically, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You understand the importance of confidentiality and respect people’s privacy when working in bedrooms and personal spaces. You are reliable, consistent, and willing to learn. Full training and support will be provided.

Our team works closely with service users and their families to deliver personalised, person‑centred care that promotes independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. The domestic team plays an important role in supporting health, wellbeing, and daily routines by creating a clean, safe, and well maintained environment.
