As a Healthcare Assistant with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will be part of the team responsible for delivering safe, effective, and person‑centred care. Your role will have a direct impact on recovery, wellbeing, and long‑term outcomes for the service users you support. Senbrick Lodge is a specialist mental health service based in Ibstock, Leicestershire, providing rehabilitation, structured support, and long‑term care. The service supports individuals stepping down from hospital or secure environments, as well as those requiring structured support to stabilise, build skills, and regain independence. Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, therapy, and specialist support services. Service users are supported through tailored pathways including rehabilitation, discharge planning, and long‑term care. The focus is on recovery, skill development, and supporting individuals to move forward into more independent living where appropriate.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of care as directed by senior staff, supporting service users in line with their individual care plans. You will support with day‑to‑day care needs, including personal care where required, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect are maintained at all times. The role includes monitoring service users, recognising and reporting changes in behaviour or presentation, and maintaining accurate records using digital systems. You will engage with service users to support therapeutic activities, daily routines, and structured programmes designed to promote recovery and independence. You will work as part of a wider team, maintaining a safe environment, supporting risk management, and contributing to a consistent and supportive care approach. You will also be required to complete Safety Intervention training and work within agreed approaches to de‑escalation and behaviour support.
