As a Support Worker at Rushcliffe Care Group, your primary responsibility will be to provide physical, social, and psychological care to our service users. You will work closely with healthcare team leaders to ensure the well-being and dignity of individuals we support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the dignity and independence of individuals we support, taking into account their unique needs and backgrounds.
- Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal times, and social interactions, while encouraging freedom of choice.
- Participating in social activities, outings, and hobbies, helping to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for those in our care.
- Providing emotional and psychological support through active listening, conversation, and 1-to-1 activities.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided and reporting any changes in a service userβs physical or emotional state.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both service users and staff.
- Undertaking training and development opportunities, including completing the Care Certificate within the probationary period.
