We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Co-ordinator (GIS/Database Management) to join the planning team on a permanent contract. This person will deliver upgrades and improvements to the Council’s main system for Planning and Environmental Health. Leading on an exciting project looking to make both the Planning and Public Protection Teams more data driven through the use of innovative technology and geographical systems. This will allow better analysis of data and ensure teams are working effectively and ensuring resources are placed in the areas needed.
You will have a good understanding and experience in working with GIS systems and good data management skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative and also be an excellent team player. You will be able to question databases and provide a variety of reports with varying amounts of data.
