Facilities Assistant - The Role

We are delighted to offer a rewarding role within our Facilities Service for a proactive individual to join a forward-thinking team with an excellent reputation. Whether you have extensive experience or are keen to try something new, we would love to hear from you. A vacancy has arisen to support the operation of Facilities across the West Bridgford area. Working as part of a team on a seven-day rota, you will play a key role in ensuring our buildings and community spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming.

Facilities Assistant - Your Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing buildings
  • Cleaning and preparing facilities
  • Carrying out minor maintenance
  • Supporting room lettings
  • Assisting with the operation of community halls, council and business offices, sports venues, parks, and playing field facilities

Facilities Assistant - You:

  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Confident in prioritising a varied workload
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service
