We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused individual to be part of a dynamic customer service team, to help deliver our services in person, over the telephone and digitally.
What do we do?
The Customer Services team are the first point of contact for all Borough Council related enquiries. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential as we talk daily to customers and often have to explain complex procedures.
What will you do?
With previous experience in dealing directly with the general public or customers within the public or private sector, you will have an excellent understanding of the principles of customer service excellence and a willingness to learn new skills. You will have the ability to assimilate the knowledge and undertake the training required to be a point of contact for a wide range of council services with an awareness of other services offered by partner agencies. You will be required to understand and explain detailed issues ensuring an excellent service is delivered to customers. This position will provide an invaluable opportunity for anyone who has experience within a customer service environment and who is interested in pursuing their career in this field.
