Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly Human Resources team as an HR and L&D Officer.

Location: Nottingham, NG2 7YG

Salary: £37,743 to £40,113 per annum (pay award pending)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent contract

About Us:

Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high quality services to more than 110,000 residents in a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. Our Council offices are located in West Bridgford, Nottingham in a purpose-built office and leisure centre facility, Rushcliffe Arena.

The Role:

We are creating a new post within our HR team to provide dedicated capacity for Learning & Development (L&D), while also strengthening our ability to deliver high-quality HR support during a period of increased demand and Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) preparation. Reporting into the Strategic HR Manager, this is a varied role; you will coordinate, deliver and continuously improve our corporate learning offer, including making best use of our e-learning platform (Learning Pool). You will also provide additional capacity for general HR advisory work to support managers and employees across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in supporting employee development, with a sound understanding of HR policy and employment law. You will have strong organisation and coordination skills, excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage staff and liaise effectively with training providers. If you are passionate about developing people, improving organisational capability and delivering practical HR support, we would love to receive your application.
