Facilities Assistant - The Role
We are delighted to offer a rewarding role within our Facilities Service for a proactive individual to join a forward-thinking team with an excellent reputation. A vacancy has arisen to support the operation of Facilities across the West Bridgford area. Working as part of a team on a seven-day rota, you will play a key role in ensuring our buildings and community spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming.
Facilities Assistant - Your Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing buildings
- Cleaning and preparing facilities
- Carrying out minor maintenance
- Supporting room lettings
- Assisting with the operation of community halls, council and business offices, sports venues, parks, and playing field facilities
Facilities Assistant - You:
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Confident in prioritising a varied workload
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service
- Comfortable using computerised systems
- Attentive to detail and professional in representing the Council
- A current driving licence is essential for this role
