Receptionist (Front of House) - New Salon Opening in York! RUSH Hair & BeautyWe\'re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new RUSH Hair & Beauty salon in York - and we\'re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Front of House Receptionist to join our growing team! As the face of our salon, you\'ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. From the moment clients walk through the door, your warm welcome and professional service will set the tone for their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and ensure they feel welcomed and valued
- Manage bookings, both in-person and over the phone/email
- Oversee the salon schedule and appointment flow
- Handle client inquiries and support the wider team
- Maintain a clean, organised reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks and daily salon operations
- Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or front of house experience (salon or beauty spa experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
- A professional, well-presented, and friendly demeanor
- Competent computer skills; familiarity with salon booking systems is an advantage
