This is not a typical customer service role. We are an e-commerce business selling CCTV cameras directly to customers in the rural and agricultural sectors. Our customers include farmers, landowners, rural businesses, and sites that often need reliable security or monitoring in remote locations.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership, stay organised under pressure, and help improve how things are done. You’ll work directly with the owner in a growing business where priorities can change quickly, so you’ll need to be confident managing multiple tasks without dropping the ball. The role is based from our remote office location, so you must be comfortable working in a rural setting and able to drive.

The Role

  • Answering customer calls for sales and technical support
  • Managing emails, support tickets, and customer follow-ups
  • Making sure nothing is missed, delayed, or left incomplete
  • Handling SIM admin, returns, and other operational tasks
  • Spotting problems and suggesting better ways of working
  • Supporting the owner with day-to-day business priorities

Required experience

  • Have solid customer service experience
  • Be highly organised, reliable, and detail-focused
  • Be proactive and able to suggest improvements
  • Be confident managing a busy and varied workload
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-moving small business
  • Drive, due to the remote rural office location

Ideal Experience

  • Technical support background
  • Experience using a ticketing system or CRM
  • Experience in an e-commerce, retail, or operations-focused business
  • An interest in CCTV, technology, agriculture, or rural businesses

Opportunities

  • Real responsibility from day one
  • Direct access to the business owner
  • Opportunity to grow into a management role
  • Flexitime
  • Christmas closure

This role would suit someone who wants more than a standard customer service job and is looking for a position where they can take ownership, improve processes, and grow with the business.

  • Casual dress
  • Flexitime
  • Free parking
