UK National Sales Manager – Automotive, Marine & Industrial Markets in Northampton

We are seeking a driven and experienced National Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales presence across the automotive, marine & industrial sectors in the UK. The successful candidate will be centrally based and responsible for developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a small technical sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing key distributors
  • Find new opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Visit, on a regular basis, customers, OEMΒ΄s, with or without the distributors.
  • Analysis of competitors
  • Develop and implement training packages for the detailing, automotive, industrial markets
  • Participate in training sessions for both current and new distributors
  • Act as technical liaison with paint company technical centers and training personnel
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and customer meetings
  • Work with RUPES S.p.A. R&D Managers and Regional Sales Director to define new product opportunities
  • Travel intensively in support of RUPES training programs
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Manage and coach a small technical team of two sales professionals, ensuring performance, development, and alignment with business goals.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive, marine, or industrial sectors.
  • Work well independently
  • Have strong communication skills and be well versed in social media
  • Be comfortable working with all layers of business society, from shop technicians to top managers.
  • Be willing to embrace an extensive travel schedule
  • Be open to learning new cultures, both social and commercial
  • Be centrally based in the UK to allow nationwide accessibility
  • Have strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams
