Role Overview As a Care Team Leader, you will plan and deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care that keeps residents safe, respected, and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring the highest standards of care, accurate documentation and effective communication across the team. You will support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, deliver medication management and audits, and provide physical, social and emotional care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the Care Assistant team.
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Support the Home and Deputy Managers in daily operations and resident care.
- Manage medication administration and audits.
- Foster a compassionate, respectful environment for residents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Dynamic leader with proven experience in person‑centred care planning.
- Expertise in dementia care and leading care teams.
- Strong organisational skills and a positive, energetic approach.
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care is advantageous but not essential.
