Activity and Wellbeing Lead

Hourly rate – £11.58 per hour

Hours per week – 24, 3x days per week, including some weekends and evenings

Join our wonderful home as an enthusiastic team-player! Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities to our residents. You will also guide, develop, and coach staff in engagement and activity, ensuring every day is filled with meaningful moments. Our goal is to help residents live well and enjoy life, maintaining dignity and self-esteem through engagement, relationships, and self-expression.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and delivering high-quality meaningful activities for residents
• Ensuring residents with dementia have equal opportunities for engagement
• Fostering excellent interaction between staff and residents
• Promoting mealtimes as highlight moments of the day
• Building and maintaining community links

We provide support, guidance, and development opportunities to help you succeed in delivering quality activities and engagement. Applicants should have a positive, forward-thinking attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire others. Care home experience and activity leadership are advantageous.
