About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate care professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day management of a designated unit.
As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring residents receive the highest standards of person-centred care while leading, supporting and developing the care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your designated unit, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
- Ensure residents' dignity, independence, choice and individual needs are respected and promoted at all times.
- Lead and supervise the care team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to ensure excellent standards of care.
- Take responsibility for residents' and employees' documentation, ensuring records are accurate, clear, timely and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of care practice across the unit and ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Administer and manage residents' medication in line with company policies, national standards and pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any incidents, concerns or changes that may affect their health, safety or welfare.
- Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with the effective running of the Home and deputise when required.
- Assist with staff recruitment, rota planning and attendance monitoring to help maintain a strong and consistent team.

- Ensure residents receive excellent support with their personal care needs, including bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene and mealtimes.
