We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our friendly support team, covering our care homes across the North Essex area.
You will be responsible for carrying out complete decoration works and minor repair works, helping to ensure our care homes remain safe, well-maintained, welcoming, and maintained to a high standard for our residents, visitors, and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in painting and decorating, with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to carry out a range of minor maintenance and repair tasks.
You must hold a full driving licence, as the role will involve travelling between our care homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out painting and decorating works across multiple care homes.
- Complete preparation, painting, wallpapering, and general decoration works to a high standard.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
- Help maintain the appearance and condition of our care homes.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues requiring specialist attention.
- Work safely and efficiently while minimising disruption to residents and care home teams.
- Ensure all completed works meet the required standard of quality and presentation.
- Work cooperatively with care home teams and the wider facilities team.
- Travel between care homes across North Essex as required.
