Lead Gardener

Were looking for an experienced and enthusiasticLead Gardenerto take charge of the gardens and grounds at awell-established residential property. This is a hands-on role where youll combine your horticultural knowledge with team leadership to keep the grounds looking their best all year round.

About the role:
As Lead Gardener, youll be responsible for the day-to-day care and ongoing development of the gardens. That includes lawn care, hedge cutting, borders, planting schemes and greenhouse management, as well as ensuring plant health and propagation. Youll also oversee a small team of gardeners, planning workloads and supporting them to deliver high standards.

What were looking for:

  • A solid background in professional gardening, landscaping or estate maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of plants, propagation and seasonal gardening.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring others.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating spaces people can enjoy.
