About the role: As a Laundry Assistant, you will be a member of the support services team. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure the laundry of residents and the general care home is completed in a professional and timely manner. This includes using washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently as well as neatly folding, hanging, or preparing clean laundry for redistribution.
Your daily tasks include keeping the laundry area clean, tidy and organised as well as following health and safety standards to avoid contamination and accidents.
