Runway East has been on a mission to destroy boring offices since 2014, offering unique flexible office space for teams of 1 - 100 in London, Bristol and Brighton. We are hiring our first in-house Designer to own the look and feel of Runway East's spaces. Your key responsibilities will revolve around:
- New site design: Work alongside D&B contractors and their design teams on new location fit-outs, reviewing proposals and protecting our brand identity.
- FF&E specification: Select and specify furniture, fixtures and equipment across new sites, refreshes and office modifications.
- Site spruces and refreshes: Plan and deliver cosmetic upgrades across the portfolio, creating design schemes and working with the projects team.
- Space planning management: Brief and manage our outsourced space planning agency, reviewing layouts for efficiency and member experience.
This role is based from our Covent Garden office, 4 days a week. Open to part-time candidates and flexible arrangements.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in workplace and flexible office design.
- Practical as well as creative, comfortable with materials and problem-solving on site.
- Commercially aware, understanding the cost and commercial impact of design decisions.
- Confident with external partners, able to challenge when necessary.
- Proficient in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Self-directed, managing your own workload and taking ownership from concept to delivery.
