What you'll do
- Support hiring across our most technical roles.
- Own and support hiring across some of our most strategic technical roles in the UK, particularly in:
- AI / Machine Learning
- Infrastructure & Compute
- Software Engineering
- Product
- Leadership and other strategic hires
- Work directly with founders and senior leaders to understand what we actually need rather than simply execute against a list of open positions.
- Develop strong relationships within the UK AI and technology ecosystem.
- Build long-term networks of engineers, founders, operators and technical leaders.
- Attend and help identify relevant meetups, conferences and industry events.
- Create relationships with people who may not be actively looking for their next role.
- Identify creative ways to reach exceptional people.
Understand the technology
- You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be genuinely comfortable in technical environments.
- You should be interested in topics such as AI inference, GPUs, distributed systems, ML infrastructure, data centres and the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
- We expect our Talent team to understand what we're building and to be able to have credible conversations with highly technical candidates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Partnering, executive search or a similar role.
- Strong experience recruiting technical profiles in the UK.
- Good understanding of the UK technology ecosystem.
- Experience recruiting within AI, ML, infrastructure, cloud, developer tools or another highly technical environment.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior engineers, technical leaders and founders.
- A strong network — or clear evidence that you know how to build one.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup where roles and priorities evolve quickly.
- Able to work autonomously and make decisions without waiting for multiple layers of validation.
- Open to occasionally supporting broader People topics beyond recruitment.
- Strong ownership mentality: when you see something that needs doing, you help make it happen.

- Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
