Senior Level Java Developer is required to join one of the UK's leading Financial Software houses, located in the heart of London. My client has been established for over 20 years and works with some of London's biggest names, such as Aviva, Lloyds Bank and Amazon.
As an experienced Java Developer, you will work on the development and maintenance of their financial SaaS products, as well as Greenfield projects. You will be expected to have a proven track record working to best practices and with the latest Java versions (11 - 21), Microservices, Spring, Springboot, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD Pipelines, TDD and multi-threaded applications.
- 1st - 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- ~3 - 7 years of Java Development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented principles.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- A passion for fintech and a strong desire to learn and grow in this industry.
Collaborate with a team of developers to design, develop, and test Java-based applications. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes. Coaching and mentoring of junior engineers.
