We are in an extremely exciting period of growth, with over 350+ events planned and 480,000 entrants expected in 2026. As we expand our reach and continue to build our team, we are looking for an Events Executive to join our team on a part-time freelance basis covering events across the region.
You will be working directly with our events team in Surrey, to organise and deliver running events across the region and help runners to have the best experience at RunThrough events.
- Support our course event staff across weekend and occasional mid-week events
- Check venues and courses pre-event for any potential hazards
- Position signage, cones, drop off course marshals, water stations etc.
- Lead cycling for events
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in working in live events
- An interest in running
- Ability to carry out manual tasks
- Confidence and ability to ride a bike at the front of a road race
- A passion for delivering faultless events with a customer-centric focus
- Willingness to work on weekends
- A full UK manual Driving Licence and be comfortable with driving a van, if required
- Experience working live events
