Our CyberScoreTM team is passionate about opening a new space in the cyber security market and bringing forward a disruptive and deeply credible technology product. They are driven to enable organisations of all size and type to uplift their cyber security management and deploy ground-breaking technology to rapidly, repeatedly and reliably manage their security posture.
Key responsibilities and result areas:
- Working closely with technical teams to investigate and resolve complex customer queries
- Taking ownership of issues identified and working with Development team to ensure they’re fully resolved and tested before deployment
- Working closely with the Services team to keep updated about ongoing investigations so impacted customers can be kept well informed
- Where necessary, working with the Services team to communicate findings and recommendations to the impacted customer
- Ensuring outcomes of investigations and key findings are well documented
- Assisting and collaborating with different teams on various projects - both internal (to XQ) and production (related to XQ's services and products)
- Working alongside the Services team to provide excellent customer service, and where necessary providing proactive help to customers who sign up for XQ's services
- Where necessary, providing internal IT support to XQ employees
As well as the list above, you will also be required to undertake other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
Education or characteristics required in the role:
- Essential:

- An ability to work in a highly-communicative and driven team
- A desire to help customers, resolve issues and take proactive steps to reduce reoccurrence of issues

- A related qualification or degree
Experience required in the role:
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of computing platforms and IT systems
- Good knowledge of virtualisation platforms and networking concepts
- Keen interest in cybersecurity
- Excellent customer communication skills, and ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment
- A proactive approach to work, and a willingness and ability to learn quickly
- Able to manage workload between ongoing incidents and planned projects
- A structured approach to troubleshooting complex problems
