TEACHER/CURRICULUM IMPROVEMENT TEAM LEADER IN PUBLIC SERVICES AND VOCATIONAL SOCIAL SCIENCES – REF 2506116 Up to £48,309 p.a., plus Band 3 – £3,438 p.a. for CIT Leader post Runshaw College is one of the most successful colleges in the country, renowned locally and nationally for our outstanding results, a friendly and supportive culture, and a focus on putting the student at the heart of all we do. Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, the College is near the M6, M61 and M65 and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District. The School of Public Services at Runshaw College is a very large and successful department, which achieves excellent results and accommodates over 650 students on a wide range of courses. The team currently offers Public Services at Levels 1, 2 and 3 along with Social Science Level 3 to both 16-19 learners (covering Applied Psychology, Law and Criminology) and to adult learners as an Access to Higher Education course (with Social Science, Criminology and Psychology pathways). For this position we are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and talented teacher who specialises in one or more of these areas. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, supportive and successful team dedicated to innovation and sharing best practice, and committed to a culture of high expectations, strong outcomes and inspiring a love of learning.
