This role is pivotal in maintaining a happy and purposeful atmosphere within the Runshaw community by nurturing and developing friendly and respectful relationships with staff and students. The Student Liaison Officer represents the college ethos, supports students in non‑teaching areas and acts as a positive role model outside of class time.
Responsibilities
- Manage students in non‑teaching areas, including college buildings, restaurants, toilets, campus grounds and the local community.
- Build professional, positive relationships with staff, students and the wider community.
- Support students when they are out of class and ensure expected behaviour is maintained.
- Contribute to organising and running activities for specific student cohorts in line with the college calendar of events.
- Act as a positive role model and provide support to young people in a supportive role.
