Up to £41,353 p.a. (FTE £51,691 p.a.) plus Band 2 - up to £2,453 p.a. for Course Leader post. We offer a competitive benefits package, including up to £15,880 per annum in employer pension contributions.

The School of Social Science encompasses A Level in Politics, Psychology and Sociology and L3 Applied Diploma in Criminology. Currently over 1,200 16-19 students study one or more Social Science subjects here, of which approximately 300 study L3 Criminology.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher/Course Leader to lead the Politics Team onto new heights of success, ensuring that our students continue to enjoy and achieve their goals on this course. Working within the School of Social Science, you will be required to demonstrate commitment to developing highly effective teaching strategies, assessment procedures and support approaches. A desire to seek continual improvement, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team of dedicated, supportive and student-focused teachers will also be required.
