We offer a competitive benefits package, including up to £3,966 per annum (FTE £4,402 per annum) in employer pension contributions. 37 hours per week, working 40 weeks per year - we are happy to consider applicants who can work reduced hours across five days, provided they can commit to the core hours for this role of 09:00 am - 15:40 pm, Monday to Friday.

We are excited to announce a vacancy within our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team for a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people to thrive and progress, while contributing to an exceptional team.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide proactive and highly effective safeguarding support to students where a safeguarding or wellbeing concern has been identified, ensuring timely and appropriate intervention.

Responsibilities
  • Managing an assigned caseload of students.
  • Triaging referrals via a digital referral system.
  • Signposting to internal and external support services.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
  • Delivering both early help and crisis intervention support.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ensuring effective cross-college communication.

This is a full-time role (37 hours per week), but we understand flexibility is important. We are happy to consider applicants who can work reduced hours across five days, provided they can commit to the core hours for this role of 09:00-15:40, Monday to Friday.
