About the Print Shop:
The Print Shop is the central reprographics department at Runshaw College, providing a wide range of print-related services to both staff and students. The Print Shop team operates a range of specialised production print and print finishing equipment. The team also provides maintenance and training support for the College's fleet of Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) and desktop printers, liaising with third party service providers as required. In addition, they are responsible for the management of all printer consumables and stationery purchasing.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and support a range of print and print finishing equipment, including large-format capabilities.
- Provide customer-focused service to staff and students, ensuring high-quality outputs and timeliness.
- Support maintenance and training for MFDs and desktop printers; liaise with third-party service providers as required.
- Manage printer consumables and stationery purchasing to ensure cost-effective availability.
Requirements:
- Extremely customer-focused, technically capable, with an interest in the latest digital print technology.
- Understanding of print and print finishing, including large format.
