We are inviting applications for the exciting vacancy of Head of School: Computing and Digital Technologies.
The School currently comprises A Level Computer Science; Level 3 Computing & ICT; Level 3 Esports; T Level Digital Production, Design and Development; Level 2 T Level Transition; Level 1 IT with Business; and, for adult learners, Level 3 Software Development and Level 5 Web Application Development. The School coordinates the College's participation in the Ministry of Defence Cyber Bursary Scheme and is a MEGA Hub for the CyberFirst programmes work with high schools in the area.
This is an ideal role for a strong and dynamic leader who is passionate about this fast-changing sector, and would be committed to leading growth and continuous improvement in the College's digital provision.
Responsibilities- Lead growth and continuous improvement in the College's digital provision.
- Provide leadership for the School: Computing & Digital Technologies, including curriculum development and staff development.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance student outcomes and opportunities.
- Strong track record in teaching in a relevant subject area.
- Vision, drive and skills to lead and develop a centre of digital excellence.
