A cover supervisor plays a very important role in supporting students and teaching staff in ensuring that every student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.
You will work across the college, supervising students in class in the absence of their teacher. You must be passionate about education and supporting students to be successful in their studies, guiding them to complete set tasks to maximise their progress and achievement in a positive learning environment. With a flexible approach to your working hours, you need to be available to work at short notice. The role also requires flexibility to undertake a range of additional duties as required, including escorting and supervising staff awaiting DBS clearance to ensure safeguarding requirements are met, accompanying students on trips and examination invigilation.
