Runshaw College is near the M6, M61 and M65, within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District. The Mathematics department supports over 800 A Level students, including many of our highest-achieving learners. A significant proportion progress to highly competitive university courses and degree apprenticeships, including Engineering, Medicine and Economics. The department also delivers GCSE Mathematics to over 600 vocational students resitting the qualification as part of their study programme.
The teaching role is well suited to an experienced and effective teacher with a strong track record in delivering A Level Mathematics and/or Statistics, ideally within a school or college setting.
