This is an exciting opportunity to join Runnymede Borough Council as a Digital Delivery and Business Support Assistant, playing a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of digital services across the Council. This role provides essential administrative, operational, and digital mailroom support, helping ensure services run efficiently and securely.

About The Role

As the Digital Delivery and Business Support Assistant, you will support the digital services team and help manage and maintain our digital mailroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and assisting with digital mailroom processes
  • Scanning, indexing and securely handling documents in line with council procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records, including postal accounting and tracking information
  • Aiding in day-to-day administration to the Digital Services team
  • Assisting the operation and basic maintenance of digital mailroom equipment
  • Working with teams across the Council to aid service delivery and resolve queries
  • Assisting with meeting service targets and ensuring tasks are completed to agreed timelines
  • Contributing to improvements in processes to increase efficiency and service quality

Please note that Runnymede Borough Council is currently undertaking a pay and grading review, which is expected to be implemented during the summer. The successful applicant will be appointed under the Council’s current grading and salary structure and, following implementation of the new framework, will be assimilated into the revised pay structure in line with all existing employees. This grading in the new pay structure for this role is RBC2, with a salary range of £27,528 - £30,089.
