We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Runnymede Veterinary Hospital (Pets First) on a full‑time basis. We are a well‑established, RCVS‑accredited small animal hospital located in the heart of Surrey. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

This is a full time position, working 40 hours over a 4 day week. Shifts vary from 7:30am start to 7:00pm finish. You will work a mixture of theatre, inpatients, pharmacy and the occasional consult shift. 1:4 Saturdays (9am-2pm) with TOIL given the week before. No out of hours, Sundays or Bank Holidays.

General responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in a wide range of surgical and medical procedures;
  • Inpatient care and monitoring;
  • Nurse clinics and client education;
  • Supporting student nurses;
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment.
