A high growth ecommerce and marketplace agency is looking for a commercially driven Chief Commercial Officer to lead and scale the agency’s commercial function through its next stage of expansion. Working with ambitious consumer brands across Amazon, retail media and digital commerce, the business has built a strong reputation within the ecommerce space and is now entering a pivotal phase of growth.

This is a senior executive leadership role with responsibility across revenue growth, commercial strategy, new business, partnerships and market positioning. The business is looking for someone who can build and lead a scalable commercial engine, shape long term growth strategy and play a key role in the future direction of the agency.

You’ll work closely with the founders and senior leadership team to strengthen commercial performance, develop strategic partnerships and position the agency for continued growth within the ecommerce and marketplace industry.

The Role

This role combines commercial leadership, strategic growth and revenue ownership within a fast moving ecommerce agency environment. You’ll take ownership of the agency’s commercial performance across sales, partnerships, business development and market expansion, while helping build the structures, processes and leadership foundations required for long term scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Commercial Leadership & Revenue Strategy
    • Own and lead the agency’s commercial strategy and revenue growth
    • Develop scalable commercial structures, forecasting models and reporting frameworks
    • Drive long term revenue growth across Amazon, ecommerce, retail media and emerging marketplace opportunities
    • Shape pricing strategy, commercial models and partnership structures
    • Identify new commercial opportunities, service expansion areas and strategic growth initiatives
    • Partner closely with founders on wider business planning, commercial direction and long term growth strategy
    • Build a commercially driven culture focused on performance, accountability and scalable growth
  • New Business & Commercial Development
    • Lead the agency’s entire new business function from outreach through to negotiation and close
    • Own high value commercial conversations, proposals and partnership agreements
    • Develop relationships with ambitious consumer brands, ecommerce businesses and strategic partners
    • Build and refine outbound strategy, networking opportunities and lead generation initiatives
    • Create scalable processes across pipeline management, forecasting and CRM reporting
    • Mentor and develop commercial and marketing talent within the business
  • Market Positioning & Industry Presence
    • Help position the agency as a market leader across Amazon, marketplaces and retail media
    • Lead thought leadership strategy and commercial brand visibility
    • Support partnerships, events, content strategy and industry engagement
    • Collaborate closely with internal specialists across advertising, marketplaces and client growth to strengthen commercial positioning
