We are putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for runners. We help everyday runners become outstanding by building an incredible app providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you are improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. We are growing extremely fast! In November 2023 we closed a $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024 we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year, and in 2025 we were acquired by Strava!
Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and execution for your squad
- Partner with PM and Engineering to shape the product direction
- Break down complex problems into simple, thoughtful solutions
- Run user research and use insights to guide your approach
- Help shape team rituals, design processes and quality standards
- Give constructive feedback to other designers and help strengthen the team's craft
- Shape parts of our design system and maintain consistency across the product
- Design with accessibility in mind and encourage inclusive thinking in the team
Qualifications
- Strong experience leading design work within a product squad
- Excellent UX, interaction and visual craft
- Comfortable working with complex problem spaces and shaping direction
- Clear communicator who can bring others along with your thinking
- Able to collaborate closely with PM and Engineering partners
- Confident in prototyping and storytelling
- Comfortable influencing ways of working within the team

Interview Process
- Screening call with Jake, Talent Partner (~25 minutes video call)
- Intro chat with Cleber, Head of Product Design (~30 minutes video call)
- Take-home design task (~2 hours to complete); for candidates with a strong portfolio, swap for a case study presentation
- Design walkthrough and app critique (1 hour video call)
- Meet the team (virtual or in-person chat with founders and the rest of the team)
Salary: Β£90,200 - Β£100,400 per year, plus participation in Strava's long-term incentive (stock) programs.
