The Role
Join the sales team at a high-volume, premium entertainment venue, driving event and group sales across a diverse mix of private hires, group bookings, corporate hospitality, and premium ticket packages. You'll manage the full sales cycle—from initial enquiry through to contract and handover—delivering exceptional client service while maximising revenue and occupancy.
What You'll Do
- Pipeline & Conversion: Respond promptly to inbound enquiries; qualify, propose, negotiate, and close. Achieve weekly activity and monthly revenue targets.
- Prospecting: Generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, agencies, and partnerships with hotels, DMOs, and concierge services.
- Product & Packaging: Prepare compelling proposals including menus, floor plans, and AV details. Upsell food & beverage options, champagne upgrades, and experiential add-ons.
- Diary & Yield: Manage provisional bookings, protect key dates, and optimise pricing within agreed parameters.
- CRM Management: Log all activity, maintain forecast accuracy, and report on lead sources, conversion rates, and win/loss analysis.
- Handover: Conduct thorough operational handovers with the Events, Front of House, and Kitchen teams. Attend site visits and tastings where required.
- Aftercare: Manage post-event follow-up, gather feedback, and drive re-bookings, testimonials, and referrals.
- Brand & Compliance: Ensure all proposals and communications align with brand standards. Adhere to contracts, terms, deposits, and payment schedules.
You’ll Need:
- 1–3+ years' experience in events or group sales within venues, hotels, catering, or attractions.
- A proven record of converting enquiries into confirmed business.
- Confident negotiation and proposal writing skills.
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable hosting site visits and tastings.
- Solid CRM discipline (TripleSeat or similar).
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
Nice to Have
- Established London hospitality network (agencies, corporate bookers, concierges).
- Familiarity with AV setups, floor plans, and menu/wine upselling.
