Role: Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer SC Clearance Remote Inside IR35 Overview of role: Design, deploy, and operate a high-scale Microsoft 365 discovery and rationalisation platform using SpaceObServer to inventory, analyse, and support the removal of redundant, obsolete, and trivial (ROT) data across a large SharePoint Online estate. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a tenant-wide Microsoft Entra ID application registration pool (510 applications) to support parallelised Microsoft Graph API data collection and mitigate throttling. Deploy and configure Azure VM and SQL Server infrastructure in accordance with approved technical architecture standards. Connect and configure SpaceObServer within the Microsoft 365 tenant. Execute and optimise baseline metadata discovery scans across a SharePoint estate containing 75M+ files, using shallow-scan methodologies to maximise ingestion performance. Provide secure access to the SpaceObServer Web UI for Records Management teams and support data analysis activities. Enable and support metadata-driven identification of duplicate content, abandoned legacy sites, and ROT data.
