Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to support a high-profile client on the design and delivery of secure cloud solutions. The successful candidate will have extensive Azure expertise and a strong background in Microsoft security technologies, with particular experience deploying Microsoft Defender and Microsoft XDR. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a security-focused cloud transformation programme within a highly secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures within Microsoft Azure.
- Lead the deployment and integration of Microsoft Defender across the Azure estate.
- Design and deliver Microsoft XDR solutions to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to ensure solutions align with business and security requirements.
- Produce high-quality architecture documentation and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
- Support the migration and optimisation of cloud services while embedding security best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Defender.
- Experience implementing Microsoft XDR solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and Microsoft security technologies.
- Experience working within secure or regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
