We’re recruiting a Site Engineer to work across 3 groundworks projects in Surrey and North Hampshire. The contractor is small, privately owned business who takes pride in looking after their staff and delivering the highest standard of work for their customers. They work with the biggest contractors in country, specialising in bespoke groundworks packages for new schools, sports centres and commercial or residential buildings. The role is suited to someone who has worked in a groundworks environment and knows the basics of setting out and using a total station. You may be mid-way through training or coming up off the tools, but ideally have 2-3 years’ experience and looking for a new challenge. You\’ll work closely with an experienced engineer to support your development and training to become a standalone qualified Site Engineer. The nuts and bolts of their projects include site clearance, deep drainage, concrete foundations, steel and reinforced concrete frames and externals packages up to £3m. Site Engineer duties will include * Providing the site with accurate setting out points and levels * Advising on technical detail and raising any technical queries * Keep accurate records and as built drawings * Work with site staff to ensure works carried out to specification Please get in touch with Sam Draycott if you have any questions
