We’re working with an outstanding Hampshire based business to recruit a Site Engineer for a portfolio of marine civil engineering projects. The business has an esteemed history in marine projects across the South Coast from Kent to Devon protecting the shorelines and enhancing our ports, sea defences and marine infrastructure. They’re also working within the water industry to future-proof our water supply for generations to come.
As a Site Engineer you’ll join an established team and get stuck into some heavy civils reconstructing sea walls, installing drainage systems, deep sheet piling, upgrading critical defence infrastructure as well as restoring historical work. There is a clear run of work into 2027.
There is clear progression through engineering into management, or chosen path, into technically focused roles in planning, design or as a Managing Engineer.
Site Engineer duties:
- Setting out and surveying (Total Station & GPS)
- Produce as built drawings in AutoCAD
- Quality control throughout construction process and ITP check sheets
- Problem solving design changes, material changes.
The role is suited to someone with between 1 – 3 years’ experience.
