If youβre looking for long term, interesting work close to home, Havant Thicket Reservoir could be the place for you. The project has a duration of around 5 years and other work in the local area. The business has an esteemed history in water infrastructure and marine projects across the UK & Europe. This project is a first of its kind in the last 30 years, constructing a new reservoir to protect some of the rarest chalk streams in the country. The project is being delivered by a Joint Venture and will comprise of extensive earthworks, ecological work, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, buildings and MEICA.
Following completion of the project, the business has a steady local workload on frameworks, reactive projects, private clients and local authorities on projects such as coastal protection, jetties, water treatment works, marine groundworks and more. Experience of working with NEC Contracts is essential.
Key duties:
- Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation
- Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money
- Provide commercial support to the engineering staff
- Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract
- Raise early warning notices, compensation events
- Forecasting and CVRs
