The company is currently looking for a Principal Estimator within their Civils & Aviation division. This business unit is growing, targeting over £100 million in turnover within the next five years.
As Principal Estimator, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of four seasoned Estimators. Your role will involve overseeing tender allocations, developing winning strategies, and collaborating with external clients and internal operations teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven estimating experience, ideally using Causeway software
- A background in civil engineering, particularly roads, groundworks, or concrete
- Familiarity with NEC contracts
Key Duties:
- Preparing estimates for projects ranging from £500k to £20m
- Managing risk and opportunity schedules effectively
- Ensuring pricing aligns with client requirements and exploring alternative materials, methods, and designs
- Producing high-quality tender documentation that meets industry standards for health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
