We are recruiting Site Engineers to support with the quality, coordination and technical support of highways maintenance projects around the M25. We are looking for a candidate with experience of working within the highways/road construction sector with exposure to structures. The work will involve bridge joint and bearing replacement works and structural repairs. Suitable candidates are required to work on nights, days and working from home on occasion. Chapter 8 vehicle will be provided.
Duties include:
- Checking drawings and raising Technical queries
- Writing Inspections and test plans
- Offering on site technical support and some setting out
- Delivery of daily dairies, site inductions and tool box talks
- Working with Site supervision to manage and support sub contractors
- Problem solving, dealing with site queries and dealing with site logistics
