A specialist civil engineering and utilities contractor is recruiting a Site Supervisor for projects in and around Portsmouth. The role will consist of supervising the day-to-day installation of a large new diameter water pipe, being responsible for keeping diaries, and ensuring the work is delivered safely and on time. Ideally you will have experience of laying pipes, managing several gangs and are computer literate. Each project will range in value and duration with most schemes around £250k - £500k and one-off specials project around £1m.
Site Supervisor Duties include:
- Record progress by photographing work completed
- Assist with the planning of each project
- Ensure work is being completed in accordance to the RAMS
- Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
- Lead by example promoting health, safety, quality and environment
- Complete site diary
